Honeymunch mischen Jazz und Funk mit elektronischer Musik. Down und Break Beats zaubern Clubatmosphäre
mit Disco und Retro Instrumenten. Relaxte Jazz Gitarre, Fender Rhodes, treibende Percussion, jazzige
Improvisationen und lateinamerikanische Einflüsse sind vielfältige stilistische Merkmale des unverkennbaren
Stils des Quintetts. Honeymunch sind Grenzgänger, die sich keinem Genre verpflichtet fühlen.

are influenced by downbeat -Drum & Bass up to high-tempo Discobeats.
Relaxed jazzguitar-sounds, Fender Rhodes and incentive Percussion are based on Latin/Brasil
and Funky-grooves with enough space for jazzy improvisation and spontanious developments
live on stage.
We had several succesful gigs all over Germany at venues like Stadtgarten Köln, Europhonics
Jazzfestival Dortmund, Ostseejazzfestival Rostock and Morph Club Bamberg, to name just a few.
The live show at Stadtgarten Köln, was presented at the radio station WDR 5 on Thursday the
28. of February 2002 (Jazz & Trends, presented by Berd Hoffmann). Beside this, Honeymunch, who
are playing together since March 2001, are winner of the bandcontest organized by the Europhonics
Jazz Festival.
Our Album "Solon" came out in June 2003. It was published by the new Irma records label suonaphone.
The american series Sex & the City used our Song Urxa for a movie sequence
