Four equal voices – Christin Neddens, Lara Lübbe, Johannes Wilke and Johannes Keller play to form much more than just a band with a featured singer plus accompaniment. Instead, ideas and impulses float freely through the ensemble. Motives are expanded or opposed, built upon or maybe even ignored. Unhindered by the stereotypical roles of “soloist” and “accompaniment”. The quartet flows through harmonically dense as well as very sparse moments – yet the music always remains transparent.
