Jazz am Kaisersteg: Berliner Szene Jazz - draußen & gratis

The musical focus is to explore tensions between contemporary jazz and other current musical forms, such as free improvisational music, experimental rock, contemporary composition, modern folklore and world music. Artistic ambition by no means excludes entertainment in the best sense and quirky musical humor, and the desire for artistic experimentation is not at odds with the cultivation of jazz traditions.
We offer listeners the opportunity to get to know particularly outstanding current musical projects, mainly from the Berlin jazz scene, and encourage them to visit jazz clubs.
