Der Deutsch Kanadier Rocky Knauer, Lieblingsbassist von Chet Baker und Benny Bailey, der aus Pittsburgh stammende Drummer Allen Blairman den Karl Berger mit nach Deutschland brachte, sowie der Wahl-Mainzer Ulli Jünemann, der lange in den Jazz- Metropolen Amsterdam und Den Haag gelebt hat, treffen sich, um Generationen - übergreifende Musik zu machen.

triologue doesn't heed the usual hierarchies of the saxophone trio, which cast the rhythm section in a supporting role - even it takes it‘s resources out of the american songbook - Instead, triologue proposes a collective model, in which all parts carry more equal weight, and none necessarily takes the lead. triologue reminds of the great recordings of sonny rollins,
chet baker, ornette coleman, creating new shapes, colours and melodic and rhythmic ideas on stage.
