Der zweifache Echogewinner und Grammynominierte Schlagzeuger studierte bereits mit 16 Jahren Schlagzeug in Dresden. Er gründete schon zu Studienzeiten die erfolgreiche Rockband MERQURY. Daneben absolvierte er zahlreiche, internationale Masterclasses und gründete das EUROPEAN JAZZ COLLECTIVE: Aufgrund seiner musikalischen Vielseitigkeit ist er ein gefragter Live- und Studiodrummer. Mit den KLAZZ BROTHERS ist Tim Hahn seit dem Jahr 2000 aktiv. 2008 gründete er die erfolgreiche Band CUBA NOVA.
Tim HahnTim Hahn, twice over winner of the prestigious 'Echo' music award and Grammy nominated drummer, was born on December 2nd 1971 in Cottbus, Germany. He received his first drum lesson at the age of nine at the Academy of Music in Cottbus. There he was admitted to the Programme for Gifted Children and at the age of just 16 began studying drumming at the Carl Maria von Weber School of Music in Dresden. A year-long study period at the Academy of Music in Rotterdam followed this in 1994.
Alongside his love of jazz music, Tim Hahn always wanted to explore both his own boundaries and the diversity of his instrument, and at the age of 19 while still studying, formed the successful rock band MerQury with which he began his professional career. In addition to this, he also completed numerous international master classes, numbering, among others, are those from the "Drummers Collective" in New York and the "Musician's Institute" in Los Angeles. Tim Hahn is also a founding member of the European Jazz Collective. Due to his musical diversity he is a much requested live and studio drummer.
Tim Hahn has been an active member of the Klazz Brothers since the year 2000. In 2008 heounded the band CUBA NOVA.
