David Herzel ist seit vielen Jahren ein Könner in Sachen traditioneller Musik, spielte weltweit und gewann vor kurzem sogar den Kreativ-Preis Deutschlands. As a Drummer, David Herzel recently toured/recorded with Junior Watson (played with Canned Heat und Stevie Ray Vaughan), Anne Haigis, Anke Angel (NL), Gene Taylor, Paul Kuhn, Eeco Rijken Rapp (NL), Marc Florian Friedrich, Steve Bigman Clayton, Axel Zwingenberger, The Oirginal Contemporaries, M. Kosmahl, Astrid Hauke, Klaus Doldinger, Bluestour, Abi Wallenstein, Georg Schroeter, Marc Breitfelder, Saimaa (FIN), Rocky Knauer (Bassman of Chet Baker, Helge Schneider), Peter Schmidt (East Blues Experience) and many others. Herzel is always making researches and studying different techniques and drummers. As an educator, Herzel has been carrying out many workshops in Germany and abroad.
