Alexej Maslakov, Akkordeon/Komposition
erhielt die erste musikalische Ausbildung in Daugavpils. Dort schloss er am örtlichen College sein Akkordeon-Studium bei Valerij Hodukin erfolgreich ab. Konzertreisen und Wettbewerbe führten ihn nach Russland, Polen, Italien und Finnland. Er ist Preisträger internationaler Wettbewerbe.
Daraufhin führte ihn sein Weg nach Trossingen an die Musikhochschule, wo er sein Können auf dem Akkordeon bei Professor Hugo Noth intensiv vertiefte.

got the first musical education in his Latvian native country Daugavpils. There he successfully concluded in the local college his accordion study with Valerij Hodukin. Already at early ages he went for concert tours to Russia, Poland, Italy and Finland. He is a successful prizewinner of international competitions.
His way led him to Trossingen the home of the accordion to the college of music where the young musician deepened intensely his skill on the accordion with professor Hugo Noth.
In this time he also founded the jazz trio D'Accord. This ensemble presents the gifted soloist an ideal platform for his unusual compositions and his virtuoso accordion play.
