Anne Czichowsky studierte Jazzgesang an der Musikhochschule Stuttgart (2001-2007) sowie am KUG Graz (2006). Sie ist in diversen Jazzprojekten zu hören, u.a. mit ihrem Quintett JAZZPARTOUT (Gewinner der "Bucharest International Jazz Competition 2008"), ANNE CZICHOWSKY'S PLAYGROUND, ein Quintet mit u.a. Lorenzo Petrocca (git) sowie im Duo mit dem Jazzgitarristen Antonio Cuadros De Béjar.

Anne Czichowsky

Anne Czichowsky was born in 1981 in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. She grew up in South Germany with lots of good music around her thanks to her father's huge record collection.: )

Anne studied jazz vocals with Anika Köse at the University of Music Stuttgart (2001-2007) and with Laurie Antonioli at KUG Graz (2006). During her studies and beyond, she participated in numerous workshops with e. g. Darmon Meader, Peter Eldridge, Kim Nazarian, Lauren Kinhan, Bob Stoloff and many others. In February 2007, Anne did her final diploma exam at the University of Music Stuttgart with the top grade summa cum laude.

Since then, she's working as a professional musician, teaching jazz vocals at private schools and performing nationally and abroad in numerous projects such as e. g. her quintet JAZZPARTOUT, which is the winner of the Bucharest International Jazz Competition 2008. (see profile of "Anne Czichowsky & Jazzpartout") The first album RISE of JAZZPARTOUT will be published in February 2009 on the German record label Neuklang.

Furthermore, she's got another quintet called "ANNE CZICHOWSKY'S PLAYGROUND" with jazz guitarist Lorenzo Petrocca, Peter Gromer (keys), Axel Kühn (bass) and Eckhard Stromer (dr), and she also performs in a duo with jazz guitarist Antonio Cuadros de Béjar.

In July 2008, Anne Czichowsky won the "International Jazz Singer Contest Lady Summertime" in Kajaani, Finland, and was also voted "favourite singer of the audience".
