Florian Dohrmannflorian dohrmann, born in 1972 in Tuebingen, Germany, studied contrabass with Prof. Thomas Stabenow in the field of jazz at the Music Academy of Stuttgart. The main focus of his work has always been chamber music ensemble work playing his own compositions. Even before starting his formal studies he founded his own ensembles with which he implemented his own musical ideas, published recordings of his own material and played all over Europe.
In 2004 a selection of his own compositions was published by Advance Music as part of the music book "Klezmania".
