Arne Koblitz wurde 1966 in Hamburg geboren und brachte sich autodidaktisch Gitarre, Bass, Keyboard und Komposition bei. Nach seinem Umzug nach Friesland komponierte Arne Koblitz im heimischen Studio viele Stücke die in Anlehnung an Musiker und Bands wie zb. Mezzoforte, Dave Weckl, Level 42, Stanley Clarke, Rippin Tons uvm. entstanden und gründete zusammen mit Martin Lonicer die Band Coastmen. Zu den besonderen Fähigkeiten gehören das perkussive Basspiel im Stil von Mark King sowie Komposition.
Arne KoblitzArne Koblitz was born in 1966 in Hamburg and taught himself at the age of 12 years autodidactically guitar. At the age of 19 years he discovered his passion for the bass inspired by Level 42 and Mark King. With the appearance of the first Atari computers he began to compose the first songs. He played in different local Bands in Hamburg as a guitarist and bass player. After his move to Friesland (at the age of 26 years) Arne composed a lot of songs and found his own style. At the age of 37 years the decision was made, to finally return back to stage. After Arne Koblitz met Martin Lonicer (drummer), the Fusion-Jazz-Rock Band Coastmen (www. coastmen. com) was founded.
He is active in other music projects and is looking forward to participate in more studio projects as songwriter and as bass and guitar player.
