Dutch guitarist Chris Beckers started composing and producing his own music in 1980.

His third solo album ‘Nightmoves’ (1983) was a breakthrough for Beckers’ music in Europe and Japan, released on his own CrisCrazz label (GAS/Benelux), on Polydor KK (Japan) and on Steinar Records (UK). Living in Germany and owning his own studio, Chris started production work for other artists as well. During the 80’s and 90’s the guitarist released a couple of solo albums featuring a. o. Billy Cobham, Peter Erskine, Ernie Watts, Abraham Laboriel, Paulinho Da Costa, Dick Morrissey, Alex Acuna, Gerry Brown, Michiel Borstlap & Nippy Noya. Back to his roots, Chris built the Beau Garage studio in Amsterdam which is gateway for all his musical activities. ‘Seven Frames Of Mind’, with Jimmy Haslip, Simon Phillips, Jasper van’t Hof and Eric Vloeimans, is the title of his new (11th) solo cd.
