KLANGFAHRER

KLANGFAHRER is the band of the Aachen drummer Gerd Breuer, whose credit list is too long to be presented here in full:

He has recorded on the 50 CDs together with Charlie Mariano, Ack van Royen, Hermeto Pascoal amongst others; worked with Lee Konitz, Jiggs Wigham, Tony Lakatos, Eugen Cicero; played at the jazz festivals in Montreux, North Sea, Leverkusen etc.

Gerd Breuer, together with the pianist Thomas Berndt, the saxophonist Johannes Flamm, and Bernd Kistemann on the contrabass have formed a superbly well-rehearsed and harmonious band with a unique sound.

This sound, typical of KLANGFAHRER, comprises a good portion of jazz mixed

with a range of European and non-European musical ingredients.
